Sisters of the Faith: Chelsea

Several years ago Joanna went on her third mission trip to Romania.  On her team was a young lady named Chelsea.  The two of them became fast friends, bonding because of their like-minded desire to share Jesus all over the world.  Bloom! is delighted to ask Chelsea, now a senior in college, a few questions about how the Lord has been working in her life. When did you come to Christ? Well, when I was five, my parents and I moved to another state. I had been asking questions about sin and other things that my grandma had told me about Jesus. My parents weren’t believers, and so I think this made them uncomfortable. The summer after we moved, we received a doorknocker for Vacation Bible School (VBS), and my parents thought this would be a great opportunity for me to get to know some kids before I started Kindergarten. Tell us about your interest in writing started and how it's grown since then. My interest in writing started when I was in elementary school. My father worked in a company that loved to give away organizers every new year so my mother really encouraged me to start journaling. I kept a journal all throughout high school and started blogging when I was 14. I would write poems and prose with my friends and only started blogging about my relationship with Christ when I moved to college.  Share with us a time where the Lord really spoke to you. Last year, Christ spoke to me and placed a desire in my heart to start a Bible study group with some friends and acquaintances who are seeking and attending church, but in need of fellowship and accountability as they learn about the Bible and Christ. Hi girls!  We're excited to announce another addition to our wonderful team here at Bloom! ...
